Please mention Catch The Bunny when enquiring.

Once the pup reaches 16 months there will be training fees to pay. The training fees on average are $300 per month plus any trial payments (trials vary from $10-$15 per trail on average). So if you own a 10% share your fees will be $30 per month on average.

This is not taking into account any winnings the dogs generates from racing. So any prize money generated will first cover training fees and then any surplus divided between the shareholders.

Catch The Bunny will buy a few greyhounds for syndication that are already at racing age. Generally we will pick up young dogs who have shown ability in a limited number of starts and with our experienced trainers we feel will show improvement.

It is Catch The  Bunny's aim to get syndications in all states across Australia. When a dog is up for syndication it will state in the advert where the dog is expected to run giving members the right information to decide which syndication to invest in.

Catch The bunny will send regular emails to owners with reports from trainers and breeders. We will upload photos of your dogs in the photo gallery section of the site.

When a dogs racing career is over Catch The Bunny will look to find a good home for the dog or be placed in the greyhound adoption program. Catch The Bunny will provide some syndications with adoption in mind. Please see the main menu section Adoption Program Shares.

The initial costs will cover all the dogs rearing needs up to the age of 13 months including worming and vaccinations. The breaking in fee will be covered in the initial cost as well as the next 2 months of spelling. This means all costs are covered until the dog reaches 16 months of age.

Note: EMERGENCY vet costs and TRANSPORT costs could apply.

Catch The  Bunny will work with well respected breeders and trainers with years of experience in the greyhound industry. We have selected a good core team which we feel will produce good results for our syndications.

Not all dogs make it to the track, this is where syndication comes into its own. Because you have split up the cost between a group there is opportunity to join more than one syndication giving you more of a chance of seeing your dog race.

If a dog doesn't make the grade there will be a decision to be made by the syndicate members of what to do next.

Catch The Bunny will look to place all dogs into good homes or with the greyhound adoption program.

Costs vary depending on the dogs ability, age and who the dog is placed with. The benefits of syndications are there are no hidden costs. Once you have paid your share stake there is no more to pay until the dog reaches racing age. However in some cases there may be a need for EMERGENCY veterinary care, if this is the case the syndicate members will be advised of the situation and it is down to them what course of action to take.

Note: If for any reason the dog is moved to another state, there may be transport fees involved.

All EMERGENCY and TRANSPORT costs are shared between all syndicate members.

Greyhound syndication is an ownership scheme between a number of people which gives greyhound fans the chance to own a dog without having the burdon of excessive costs.

Catch The Bunny Greyhound Syndications allows the following share options,  5%, 10%, 15% and 20%.
